It's been a rough month for sunshine in the Northeast, but a great time for reading. Plus, the Eagles are going to the Superbowl so there's really nothing to complain about.

On deck for me is a birthday gift from my daughter, Donald Keene's translation of Osamu Dazai's No Longer Human. I started it last night and have not been able to put it down.
